Magnotta is Canada’s most award winning winery having proudly received over 2,500 awards to date for product quality and excellence. In fact, the Company brands itself as “The Award Winning Winery.”

Many of Magnotta's awards include gold medals from prestigious wine competitions from all over the world including Chardonnay du Monde, VinExpo (France) and VinItaly (Italy).

Magnotta is also the first and only Canadian winery to have ever won 4 Black Diamond Trophies from Intervin International (United States) for Winery Consistency and Quality. This is awarded at the Intervin International competition to the winery with the most gold medals at the year’s competition.

In additional to the Company’s outstanding products, Magnotta Winery Corporation is also itself an award winner having won the 2007 Vaughan Business of the Year Award from the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce and achieving Platinum Club member status with Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies program. This award recognizes excellence in products, outstanding customer service and a motivated team of employees.

The Company produces wines from grapes grown on its four vineyards totaling 180 acres in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula and on its 351 acre vineyard in Chile’s Maipo Valley. Grapes grown on its 180 acre Ontario vineyards are entirely processed and vinified for the Company’s own use.

The Company sells through its current manufacturing and retail locations, which are located in Vaughan, Mississauga, Scarborough, Brampton, North York, Beamsville and Cambridge, Ontario. Sales are also facilitated through licensed representatives within Ontario, select licensees throughout the Greater Toronto Area, various agents outside of Ontario in other Canadian provinces, and through export markets.
